Summer Intensive

July 7th-August 1st, 2025(Monday-Friday)

PRB's Summer Intensive offers superior classes each day for serious ballet students.  This four-week intensive will give you a solid summer of ballet technique, pointe, variations, contemporary, and character, in an efficient schedule.  With exceptional teachers from around the dance world, you will fine-tune your skills as you develop artistically.

Classes include ballet, pointe, variations, modern, progressing ballet technique, pilates, and character.

Prep/First Year (PRB faculty Victoria Silva, Erin Stiefel-Inch, Jaime Thompson)

8:30AM-12:30PM

8:30-9:15 Progressing Ballet Technique/Conditioning Class

9:30-11:30 Technique Class

11:45-12:30 Enrichment Class (M, W, F Dance History, Vocabulary, Choreography & Improv; T/TH-Character; )


Second/Third Year (PRB faculty Victoria Silva, Erin Stiefel-Inch, Jaime Thompson)

9AM-3PM

9-9:45 Progressing Ballet Technique/Conditioning class

10-12 Technique class

12-12:30 lunch

12:30-2 M, W, F pointe; T/TH Character (second year dancers will take pointe class in flat shoes to work on strength for the goal of beginning pointe work)

2:15-3 Enrichment Class (Dance History, Vocabulary, Choreography & Improv, Injury prevention etc...)


Fourth Year A & B

9AM-3PM

9-10 Pilates/Wellness/Yoga

10:15-12:15 Technique Class with Guest Instructor/Accompanist

Week 1- Tony Wilson; Week 2-Gerard Charles and Catherine Yoshimura; Week 3-Sean Rollofson; Week 4-Lynn Glauber Mandel

12:15-1 Lunch

1-3 Modern (Week 1 with Tony Wilson);

Pointe/variations (Weeks 2-4 with PRB faculty Victoria Silva, Erin Stiefel-Inch, Jaime Thompson)

*We would like to invite select Fourth Year dancers to take Fifth Year pointe class…that will be determined on a weekly basis during the summer and based on the progress through the rest of the season and summer intensive


Fifth Year

10:15-12:15 Technique Class with Guest Instructor/Accompanist

Children’s Division Summer 2025 Schedule

Summer is a great time to continue with your dance education and retain all of the technique that was learned during the year as well as see your friends and even introduce new friends to ballet!

Dancers should register for their current level for the summer. All classes will be ballet only.

Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from July 8th thru July 29th (July 8, 15, 22 and 29). Schedule per level listed below:

Creative Movement - Recommended ages 3-4
5:00PM - 5:45PM
Pre-Ballet 1 - Recommended ages 4-6
5:30PM - 6:30PM
Pre-Ballet 2 & Ballet 1A - Recommended ages 6-8
6:00PM - 7:00PM
